So Delicious Zuppa Toscana Recipe

You won’t get enough of this soup! Amazing and so flavorful. It will bring the perfect dinner for a cold night, taste the same as the restaurant’s soup.


1 pound Italian Sausage (spicy)
4-6 Russet Potatoes :bite sized cubes
1 Onion, minced
1/4 cup REAL bacon pieces
2 tablespoons Garlic, minced
32 ounces Chicken Broth
1/2 bunch Kale (or Swiss Chard), destem & cut/torn into bite sized pieces
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
2 tablespoons Flour


1. Remove casings from sausage. Brown sausage links in a saute pan. Cut links in half lengthwise, then cut slices.

3. In slow cooker, put sausage, chicken broth, garlic, potatoes and onion and just enough water to cover the vegetables and meat.

4. Cook over high heat from 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender.

Before serving 30 minutes:

5. Combine flour and cream, mix well, removing lumps. Add cream and kale to the soup pan, stir.

7. Cook on high 30 minutes or until slightly thicken.

8. Add salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste.
