Sausage Gravy Recipe

This Sausage Gravy recipe is just wonderful the way it is. I just made this for breakfast and it was so great! Super easy and really filling also. This is really wonderful gravy to have biscuits to go with it, over-the-top good!!


1 lb pork sausage
1⁄3 cup flour
1 quart milk
1 dash pepper
Pillsbury Grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits


  1. Over medium heat, cook sausage in large skillet until thoroughly heated, about 5 minutes. Drain Fat.
  2. Stir in flour over sausage, stir constantly. Cook flour and sausage together for about 5 – 7 minutes.
  3. Gradually add milk. Cook over medium heat until it brings the mixture to a bowl and thickens. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes more. Season with pepper to taste. Serve over biscuits.
