Watermelon Margaritas Recipe

The refreshing drink that can be made in so many ways, take on many personalities, and the must have summer cocktail and the most common tequila-based cocktail in the United States, Watermelon Margaritas is simply a perfect choice!

Ingredients: 6

  • Salt, for glass rims
  • 1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur (recommended: Cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec
  • 3/4 cup tequila
  • 4 ounces seedless watermelon, small diced
  • 1 lime

Steps:

  1. Pour salt in a shallow dish for dipping the rims of the glasses.
  2. Dip 4 martini glasses in water and then dip the rims in salt.
  3. Place in the freezer to frost, about 30 minutes.
  4. In a martini shaker shake together the orange-liqueur, Triple Sec, and tequila. Remove glasses from the freezer.
  5. Fill the bottom of each glass with the diced watermelon and pour alcohol mixture over the top, dividing evenly among the glasses.
  6. Slice lime into wedges and squeeze into glasses. Serve immediately.
