Kettle Corn Recipe

Cheap, quick, and easy kettle corn recipe. This became a really fast hit in my family and always be my best snack!

INGREDIENTS

– 1⁄2cup unpopped popcorn
– 1⁄4cup white sugar
– 1⁄4cup vegetable oil
– 1⁄4teaspoon seasoning salt (or use white salt) (optional)

Homemade Kettle Corn Recipe

DIRECTIONS:
– Over medium heat, place the oil in a large pot.
– Once hot, add in the unpopped popcorn kernels with the sugar and salt then stir.
– When it begins to pop the popcorn, cover and shake constantly the pot to ensure that the popcorn kernels and oil do not burn.
– Once the popping has slowed down to once every 2 to 3 seconds, remove the pot from the heat.
– Take off the lid and sprinkle some salt in, replace the lid, give it another shake and pour into a large bowl, stirring occasionally to break up large clump.
